Weekly Wrap (01/22)
I'm now officially working with a coach. This is super exciting to me. I knew it was going to take everything I could give to make the training, the logistics and the balancing of family/work life to complete this race in the way that I wanted. Having a coach will help me in multiple ways, but one of them is trusting their training theory and having less day-to-day planning to do. I'll just lookup the workout, and then do it!
The later part of this week was just like that. I looked at the workout and I did it. It was another good week of consistency and I'm keeping up my strength workouts. Actually, I now have a large list of exercises and new routines that will surely make me sore in places I didn't know existed.
Sunday was a little surprise when I woke up to almost 6" of snow on the ground and decided that I didn't want to try to hit 3x20 min @ 7:10-7:25 pace in that beautiful mess. Instead I hit the treadmill and ran probably my longest ever run on that darn thing. At least the views were nice.
